			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Michael Huppe, President of SoundExchange and Michael Simon, President &amp; CEO of The Harry Fox Agency (HFA) will participate in an exclusive fireside chat. SoundExchange collects royalties on the behalf of sound recording owners and artists for non-interactive digital transmissions, including satellite and Internet radio, and HFA collects and distributes mechanical license fees on behalf of music publishers in the United States. SoundExchange recently announced a new record with total year-end royalty payments reaching approximately $462 million (up 58 percent from the 2011). With over 46,000 music publishing clients, HFA issues the largest number of licenses for the use of music in both physical and digital formats, and recently announced that it is working with Google Play, among others, to deliver rights management services for its digital music service for Android devices and the web.</p>
